Wyrm form is considered an exclusive feature. It is only available through adopts, customs, and this prompt. It does not count as a trait. (must be adult, its an age thing, kind of like becoming an elder?) The Nel'oth can revert back to normal form at will.
You must do all 3 prompts!
Once the final prompt is completed, the Nel'oth’s ML will get the stamp of the Great Wyrm.
Changes:
-larger than their adult size.
-for space flight
-only able to fly in weightlessness, however they can fly long enough to leave the atmosphere of the planet.
-all crests, neck, torso, & tail are elongated. (chubby tails become more slender)
If you do want to skip this prompt, you can commission ChimeraTeeth to make the Wyrm form for you. Price starts at $25usd and can be increased upwards to $50usd depending on character complexity. You can add this to the value of resellable Nel'oths.

Some adult Nel'oth are able to ascend and obtain a Wyrm form. This is caused by extreme hardship, and every Nel'oth’s experience is different. For some its mental, others its physical, or a combination of both. A trial has been made by elders of a Sun+Moon tribe that has a high success rate. These trials can take from months to years to complete. However Nel'oths have a long lifespan so there is plenty of time.
These trials may result in changes to their character, such as their personality, or scars. Maybe your Nel'oth commemorates their new form with a celebration ritual with/without friends/family, or maybe getting new jewelry, piercings, tattoos, or crest modification (piercings, designer cuts akin to a human getting their tongue cut to look like a snake’s, or gauges).
There is a small subset group of Nel'oths that shun the Wyrm form, although most see it as an ascension.

Trial 1 (mental):
Your Nel'oth is tasked with taking care of something and they become attached to said thing. However it is not meant to last. Perhaps it is a pet with a short life span, or livestock meant to be eaten, or an inanimate object. What is it did they loose and how do they handle with the emotion? Are they in despair, grieving, frustrated?
Unfortunately trauma can also awaken the Wyrm form. Was there something in their backstory that caused them to have flashbacks to a more vulnerable time?
If your Nel'oth is not very empathetic then this prompt may not work for them.
Trial 2 (mental + physical):
They are sent on a big quest in which they are told not to return empty handed. Unbeknownst to them it is a red herring. Whatever their goal is will not be achieved. The endless journey strains the Nel'oth physically, and trying to finding their goal is mentally draining. What are they looking for? Do they become stressed or frustrated with all the dead-end leads? Do they become weary of the endless traveling?
Trial 3 (physical):
Sent on a great hunt all by themselves, they are teleported to another planet. Maybe the beast is elusive, or very difficult to take down. It is physically draining, but they must persist and hopefully return with a trophy. They will have to survive in the foreign wilds by themselves (as in the only Nel'oth, although not encouraged they can recruit non Neloths to help). For this trial, each Nel'oth is given a special crystal that will teleport them back home.
If your Nel'oth is not very athletic or fond of hunting then this prompt may not work for them.
Transformation Prompt:
Choose one of the 3 prompts, and draw the follow up of your Nel'oth transforming into their Wyrm form from it. Please link the 3 trials in the description or as a comment on this prompt!
You may use this base (do not remove credit) to design their Wyrm form once you’ve done the 3 trials. Please credit ChimeraTeeth for the base and species!
